Cable Tester that operates via I2C
This Cable Tester may be connected to the MCU of your choice. It is designed for testing IDC cables, before they are used in a project application. Typically you will only power one LED at a time, to signal plug size and so MCU I2C power should suffice. Also only one IO output, through the plug, will be powered at a time, in order to detect crossed wires. A MicroPython class driver has not yet been written for this peripheral and so it would make a good student project.
